1. General Policy
Due to the nature of custom software development and digital product delivery, all payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. Before initiating any project, we ensure clear agreement on scope, deliverables, and timeline to minimize the risk of misalignment.
2. Project Payments
2.1 Advance Payment
A 50% advance payment is required before work begins on any project. This payment covers initial scoping, resource allocation, and setup costs.
2.2 Refund Eligibility
- Before work begins: Full refund of advance payment if you cancel before we start work
- During project: No refund of advance payment. Work completed is billed at the agreed rate
- On delivery: Remaining 50% is non-refundable once paid and deliverables provided
2.3 Cancellation During Project
If you cancel after work has begun: - All completed milestones up to the cancellation date will be billed - Any unused portion of the advance payment will be applied against final invoice - No further payments will be due beyond completed work
3. Monthly Retainers
Monthly retainer payments are billed in advance on the 1st of each month. Retainer fees are:
- Non-refundable once the billing month begins
- Prorated for partial months at the start or end of an engagement
4. Subscription Products
4.1 ORACLE / SHADOW / Other Subscription Products
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No prorated refunds for partial months
- Annual subscriptions: refund calculated on unused months, minus a 15% administrative fee
4.2 Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before. Ensure you cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue.
5. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact us within 7 days of the charge at signal@metafloor.in. We will investigate and resolve legitimate errors promptly.
6. Exceptions
We handle exceptional circumstances — such as complete project failure due to our fault — on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss.
